The Red-breasted Flycatcher is a migratory bird and occurs regularly in southern Norway during the migration period. It overwinters in India and Pakistan.

We consider it a rare species in the bird observatory area, with an average of less than 5 observations per year. The figures below show updated data from the bird station:
