Report from autumn 2020 (26.11.2020)
Lista Bird Observatory completed in 2020 its 31th consecutive year of autumn ringing campaign. The station has been run for a total of 124 days from July 15 until November 15. 13 mist-nets have been currently used on the standardized (138 meters) and the results was under average with 3555 birds ringed (average for autumn is 3986) of 68 different species.

Record number of Pink-footed Goose during autumn 2020 at Lista! (28.10.2020)
This autumn we have noticed many more birds of this species, counting several flocks every day, starting with the first flock on September 17. Up to 27th of October it has been counted 2933 Pink-footed Goose, which is 1721% above average (1990-2019).

Greylag goose on Lista and Jomfruland - a summary of 30 years of counting data (24.09.2020)
This year, the Norwegian Ornithological Society has published a report summarizing 30 years of counting data on Greylag Goose at Lista and Jomfruland. This species migrates through Lista approximately two weeks earlier now than 30 years ago, both spring and autumn. Milder climate, earlier breeding and advanced hunting are reasons that have been highlighted as possible causes for this change.

Great Bird Festival! (26.08.2020)
The weekend 22.-23rd August we celebrated the Lista Bird Festival and it went great! Despite a slightly more modest arrangement due to the corona situation and accompanying infection control measures, there was good support and good feedback from the participants during this weekend's festival!

Lista Bird Observatory completed in 2020 its 31st consecutive year of spring ringing campaign. The station has been run for a total of 87 days from March 15 until June 10. 13 mist-nets have been currently used on the standardized (138 meters) and the results have been low with 687 birds ringed (average for spring is 822) of 41 different species.

Begynnerkurs i ringmerking: 8.-9. august 2020 (29.01.2020)
Kurset avholdes som et weekend-kurs i perioden 8.-9. august på Lista Fuglestasjon i Farsund kommune. Dette kurset passer for de som har ingen, eller lite ringmerkingserfaring, og ønsker å lære det mest grunnleggende. Kurset passer også for de som har ringmerket før og trenger mer erfaring til å få ringmerkingslisensen. Kurset arrangeres av Lista Fuglestasjon i samarbeid med NOF.

ANNUAL REPORT 2018: Significant climate effect on bird migration in southern Norway (29.08.2019)
New studies from Jomfruland and Lista Bird Observatories show that 30 selected migratory species of birds now arrive (more than) four days earlier than they did in 1990. Climate change is probably an important cause.

Rapport fra høsten 2018 (17.01.2019)
Stasjonen har hatt 124 bemanningsdager fra 15.juli til 15.november. 13 mistnett har vært i bruk i den standardiserte runden (138 meter) og resultatet har vært et klart lavere antall fugler enn normalt. 3557 fugler ble fanget (gjennomsnitt for høsten er 4779) av 65 forskjellige arter.

LISTA FUGLEFESTIVAL 2018 (03.09.2018)
Helgen 25.-26. august gikk Lista Fuglefestival av stabelen. I år hadde arrangørene Lista Fuglestasjon og Besøkssenter Våtmark Lista slått på stortromma, og invitert verdensrekordholder Arjan Dwarshuis til å holde årets foredrag, og til å ta del i resten av festivalen.
